Saturday, February 14th, 2009Pioneer is getting out of the flat-panel display business by 2010 despite the excellent quality of their Kuro plasma TVs. Sales in HDTV have gone way down – Pioneer reported a net loss of 26.15 billion yen ($290.52 million), down from 1.69 billion yen ($18.76 million) the previous year.
